- What is the eligibility for admission to B.Com.(Computer Application) Degree Program?
Ans. B.Com.(Computer Application) (Bachelor of Commerce in Computer Application) is a 3 year Undergraduate Degree Program of Commerce & Management Faculty consisting of 6 semesters. Any qualified student of 12th / HSSC /Equivalent Examination with English from any recognized board (any stream) may seek admission to B.Com.(Computer Application) Degree program.
- What are the prospects after Com.(Computer Application)?
Ans. Ans. – B.Com.(Computer Application) program has an intake of 320 seats .
- Are the students covered under Insurance scheme ?
Ans. Yes, each eligible student of City Premier College, Nagpur is covered under Group Personal Accident Insurance for Rs. 50000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) to meet accidental emergencies.
- How much attendance is mandatory to appear in semester examinations of B.Com. (Computer Application) Program?
Ans. Each student must have minimum 75% attendance as per our university norms to appear in the semester examinations of B.Com. (Computer Application) program.
- When the does the program commences?
Ans. The classes for First year B.Com starts from June/July with Induction/orientation Program.
- Is Hostel facility available for students?
Ans. No, the college does not have Hostel of its own. However, many Hostels are available for students within the radius of 3 Kilometers of the college.
- What is ATKT?
Ans. ATKT stands for Allowed To Keep Term. The unsuccessful candidates of any semester examination shall be ALLOWED TO KEEP TERM (ATKT) in accordance with the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur regulations averred in the syllabus. However, the result of final Semester examination will be withheld unless the candidate clears all the lower examinations of the B.Com. (Computer Application) program.
- Is it necessary to register on CPCs website to seek admission?
Ans. Yes, it is the mandatory to register on CPC’s admission portal to seek admission to any undergraduate degree program in the college apart from fulfilling other admission criteria stipulated by the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), Nagpur. After the registration process on CPC’s portal, aspirants will have to register on RTMNU’s portal for generating Admission Registration Number (ARN) which is a must for seeking admission in any college affiliated to RTMNU. It is a time bound activity. Aspirants must keep looking at CPC’s admission website as well as RTMNU’s portal for all updated information.
- What are prospects for higher education after qualifying B.Com. (Computer Application)?
Ans. One can pursue M.Com./MBA after passing B.Com. (Computer Application). After completing post graduation one can appear for UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) or State Eligibility Test (SET) to serve as Junior Research Fellow or Assistant Professor in any commerce college after qualifying the cited examinations. Besides, after passing B.Com. (Computer Application) one may seek direct entry to Chartered Accountancy (CA) course without having to appear for CA Foundation Examination (entrance test for admission to CA).
